Autumn came to my wedding and painted our wedding portrait in person. Words CANNOT describe how beautiful it turned out. Autumn has been so easy to work with and she is SO TALENTED. She added some other special details that mean so much to us! Not to mention, she showed up and did this for us 7 months pregnant, maybe even 8 months! My fiancé and I found Autumn at a bridal show and were instantly drawn to her unique style. I had seen other live wedding painters, but none of their work stood out to me in the way that Autumn’s did. Her approach was vibrant and colorful, personal and intimate, and I especially loved that she incorporated mixed media to help tell the couple’s story. Since we were getting married out of town, we decided to commission a piece ahead of time and take the finished piece to display at our wedding. Working with Autumn was easily my favorite part of wedding prep. She was collaborative the entire way, and asked questions to really get to know us. I had a rough concept of what I wanted the piece to include and she took these elements and ran with them. Working with her along the way was so much fun and she sent progress videos at various stages for us to see behind the scenes. The finished piece is STUNNING. It. Is. US. It’s everything we could have imagined and so much more. She captured our love so perfectly, and every detail was perfectly executed. Her style is so beautiful, and exactly what I was looking for to tell our story. You can look at it over and over and still find new details that were carefully curated and intricately included. We had countless compliments and inquiries about the piece at our wedding, and it was definitely the shining star of our decor. I am in love with this piece! Autumn Hunter created such a unique painting that embodies Haley and Daniel as a couple, but also as individuals. I can't say enough about her attention to "their story" and the mixed media twist she added. She listened to what the couple shared and really heard what it was they wanted. I can't wait to see the painting in person! The canvas print I ordered is high quality and absolutely beautiful. I am very pleased with it. I haven't known Autumn for a long time, but I have been absolutely in love with her techniques and hearing about the stories behind her work. I passed by her booth at an art fair and knew I needed to get something - I just wasn't sure what (or if I had any room left in my apartment). Then I saw it, a sleek and small Old Fashioned painting that reminded me of evening chats with my roommate, regaling in nostalgia, and laughing until tears formed in the corners of my eyes. It felt like the piece was made for them and I knew they'd love it. I highly recommend everyone check out Autumn's works and pay close attention to the details just below the surface, I know I'll be back for more. Oh, and my roommate absolutely loves the piece!
It looks even better than I thought it would. I don't buy art often, but I couldn't help but buy this one. It's such a fantastic piece. And Autumn is also wonderful person and a great artist. Will buy more from her in the future.
