The Emerald Veil
Layers too deep for earthly eyes
Mysteries too heavy for speech
Questions too high for knowing
Waiting, silently
Like a hunter in a blind
Like a deer, stilled by instinct
To see the unseen
Pierce the veil
And watch shadows move
In step with the trees
Watch memories dance
Where they were born
