waving as it falls across a bed.
The colors offer up their praises to the sky
as they dance their part
in the ordered procession.
There is nothing else to behold,
nothing to distract,
only the endless dance across the hills
and a single tree that calls you near
to recline in its branches,
to pour yourself out at its roots,
and leave unburdened;
to meet with God himself
in the cool of the day.
