Native Americans sometimes used this plant as a purgative, and to treat rheumatism, arthritis, and cancer. After receiving inspiration on a trip to the mountains of North Carolina, I wanted to create a collection about how the quietude and complexity of the outdoors can bring peace and clarity of mind.
